As Ricochet is not taking any bookings for this summer and it seems that he may be a part of the much-anticipated series. WWE has already announced seven wrestlers for its first edition and more are set to be added to this ist:
Zack Sabre Jr. (PWG Champion),Rich Swann(NXT),Tommaso Ciampa (NXT, PWG), Noam Dar (Europe),Johny Gargano ( has a special deal with NXT),Ho Ho Lun (Japan) Akira Tozawa (Dragon Gate)
There will be also qualifying matches for this tournament.
Ricochet is also in contract with Lucha Underground which airs on El Rey Network. He works there as Prince Puma and is the first and former Lucha Underground Heavyweight champion. Ricochet’s contract with the company won’t expire until January 2017 when the 3rd season of the show will air.
This is the only hurdle that may prevent him from working his high-flying magic in WWE’s upcoming global cruiserweight series only on the WWE Network.
