He told Roberts:

Basically Bray Wyatt was saying that WWE has had issues with booking them. While Bray Wyatt has done well in his time with WWE as far as being on television is concerned. He normally puts legends over, which has been his calling card for the last few WrestleMania events. First he lost to John Cena when he and the Wyatt Family were red hot back at WrestleMania 30.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it was just that kind of thing, the right place at the right time. And we were so different, man. We were so different that I don’t think the company knew even how to use us. ‘What are these things?’ Like, we were so different and in the promos and so different in the way we looked and how we moved. We were big and we would fly and do all this crazy stuff. Like, I don’t think anyone expected us to be so complete. And they still don’t know how to use what we are.”

Then he would lose to The Undertaker after basically doing the entire program leading up to their match on his own without any Undertaker in sight until WrestleMania 31. Then at WrestleMania 32, he would come out to interrupt The Rock and he, along with the Wyatt Family would sort of be squashed by he and John Cena.

He would go on to tell Roberts that he needs the pressure of these issues with WWE and it helps it improve and get better.

Wyatt truly knows what he has with his group, yet nothing has happened with him in a major way. He sees how special the group is along with himself, as well as the fans who respond to them well. Yet WWE has clearly done nothing of value with him outside of having him put over legends all the time.

At the end of the day, what he told Roberts is the truth. Wyatt has been nursing a back injury, which is why he did not have a WrestleMania match. He is set to come back to the ring full time soon, but for now he is just an on air character.
